About Us

The Link for Life Project is a church and community organisation, established in 2010, by local churches in Great Wyrley and Cheslyn Hay. The organisation now works throughout Lichfield diocese to bring together schools, churches and the wider community to support the work of three Christian, non-profit organisations in Southern Africa – Hands at Work in Africa, The Baby Bear Project and Mercy Air.
The Project aims to encourage people in our local neighbourhood to care for, and learn from, our global neighbours. The Link for Life Project seeks to help young people in our local communities to broaden their horizons, and challenges them to help and support those in need in Southern Africa. At the Project we believe in building relationships, encouraging our teams to learn the names and stories of those they meet in order to speak up for those without a voice, and advocate on their return.
The Link for Life Project aims to raise awareness of developmental and social issues in Southern Africa, as well as raise funds for our partner charities and those which they serve. We truly believe in being a Link for Life.
